Most wedding films run too long because everything felt worth filming. The film is made in the edit, where we choose which twenty minutes of a fourteen-hour day to keep and let go of good footage that doesn’t fit.
Sound makes the biggest difference. We plan microphones for the vows, the speeches and the moment the music starts, instead of relying on a camera at the back of the hall.
The short film for sharing and the longer film to keep are two different edits of the same footage. It helps to tell us early which one matters more to you.
