Most moving shots are filmed from another moving vehicle. That needs two drivers who trust each other, a road where it’s allowed and a steady speed. It’s the riskiest part of the job, and we plan it carefully in advance.
The still shots are closer to product work, such as the badge, the stitching or light moving along the tank as the bike turns. They give the edit a breather between the fast shots.
Ride-outs and launches are filmed differently again, because the people matter as much as the machines.
