The PlaymatriX Studio website.
The studio's own website, rebuilt from scratch: 17 photo galleries, an admin the team runs itself, and pages Google PageSpeed scores 99 on phones.

The problem
The studio's old website had lost every one of its images in a server move, showed stock photography where the portfolio should have been, and could not be changed without a developer. For a photography studio the website is the portfolio, so the new one had to show real work, load fast on the phones most visitors use, and be something the team could run themselves.
What we did
We designed and built a new site from scratch, in light and dark themes, with the photographs doing the talking. The portfolio is organised by subject into 17 galleries, so a couple planning a wedding and a brand looking for product photography each find their kind of work in a couple of taps.
Behind it is an admin panel where the studio adds its own shoots, films, team members and services. Clients write their own reviews, and the studio approves them before they appear. Enquiries arrive by email the moment they are sent, and staff have their own logins.
Speed was treated as a feature rather than a clean-up job at the end. Every photograph is resized for the screen it lands on, the fonts are trimmed to the characters the site actually uses, and the homepage film loads nothing from YouTube until someone presses play. Privacy consent is built into every form, and the database is backed up every night.
