Cars and bikes are big and shiny, and they reflect everything around them, including us. Most of the work is choosing where to stand and what’s behind the vehicle, so the panels look straight and clean.
For moving shots we pan with the vehicle at a slow shutter speed. The car or bike stays sharp and the road blurs behind it.
There’s usually an event around the vehicles too, like a launch, a ride-out or a showroom morning. We photograph the badges, the riders and the crowd as well, so you have photos people will want to share.
